Blackadder - Smoking Islay - Tasting Notes

Nose
Smoke, brown sauce, berry's, meaty, plums, honey, lemon, burned wood, sweet, green herbs

Palate
Peat, heather, salty, warm, honey, dark berries, raspberry, cranberry, toffee, cassis, maritime notes, seaweed, vanilla, raisin

Finish
Sweet and a bit dry salty wood at first, medium long finish, and ending with some cane sugar mixed with cherry and a sorbet.

Score
7,5 out of 10. This was a sample out of the DH17 Dramset, and they told us that this one is an Ardbeg single cask bottling. Full of thick flavours and definitely one to be enjoyed slowly.
