Janz - Tasting Notes

Nose
Musty, sour blue berry, vanilla, vinegar

Palate
Lemon, vanilla, sweet, raisin, blue berry, rasp berry

Finish
Bit dry, vanilla. Short.

Score
My husband had a whisky workshop with a couple of friends at the local brewery 'Het Koelschip' Here he brought home a Janz Whisky, the product from here. They claim to be the smallest distillery in the Netherlands.

I give this one a 5,5 out of 10. It is a bit sour on the nose and palate, combined with sweet, like coca cola sweet. Gives a sugary mouthfeel.
