This Mortlach expression from the Maltman is drawn from cask 11007, and in total 349 bottles were produced. It is distilled in october 1998 and bottled in october 2013 at 46%
Nose
Sweet, spice, fruit, dried fruit. Delicate, fresh and sweet notes ....
Palate
Caramel, sweet, heather, roses, raisin, pepper, vanilla, fudge, cacao
Finish
Short honeyed finish, with a cocoa note mixed in there.
Score
Had this one at two different times. Scored it the first time an 6,5 out of 10, felt a bit flat... and the second time I said to myself that I had to go find me a bottle of this, scored it around 7 going to 7,5 very fast.
